It’s one clothing change, with the same hair and makeup. You can, of course, remove a layer to get a little bit of a change. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.
We do not blow dry hair. It is recommended that you arrive at the studio with your hair styled, as you would normally wear it to an important meeting. (This is important as it gives us the opportunity to see how your hair would look if you were called to an audition.) We will then fine tune it, and when applicable, change your hair for every look. This is something we love to do and our clients have been amazed with the major and minor adjustments made. Paul Gregory keeps it simple and will show you how to recreate the style(s) for everyday wear.
Please do NOT wear anything you would never wear in real life or anything a wardrobe person would never put you in. Your headshot should represent the real you. Interesting details that are subtle, is what a stylist would look for. Do not be boring and bland, have personality. I am not a fan anything plain, unless the fit is amazing! Then just add subtext and we are good to go.
You will typically receive your full size jpegs as soon as the same day , but no longer than 72 hours.
As you are able to review your images during the session, if you feel something is not working, we will fix it while the session is in progress. I welcome your input! For example, when a manager or an agent is not pleased with the results, it is usually due to a lack of communication. It has been my experience that they even tell you what they want days after the shoot. So, please be sure to be as clear with your rep as you can prior to the session. A list of “do’s and don’ts” (e.g., samples) of what they are looking for will allow us to achieve the best results.
People say all the time, that they want their pictures to “POP!” Agents and managers may recommend that you wear bright colors. We say, “Your personality is what pops – it’s the connection in your eyes.” Paul likes to talk to his clients and people often say it is the conversation in your eyes that pops. In the last few months, we have gotten more e-mails and text messages from our clients who tell us that their auditions have doubled and tripled since they shot with Paul Gregory Photography.
If you have never shot with Paul before, this will be one of the easiest and most comfortable headshot sessions you will ever have. Paul’s goal is for you to leave his studio feeling encouraged, empowered, and confident . . . and with a selection of fantastic and remarkable headshots!
